Pay: Base Wage starting at $27.14; increased based on experience

Incentive Eligible Position: Yes

Summary of Duties: Provides management with financial information by researching and analyzing accounts; preparing financial statements

Essential Functions:
1. Prepares consolidated internal and external financial statements by gathering and analyzing information from the general ledger system and from departments.
2. Maintains and balances an automated consolidation system by inputting data; scheduling required jobs; verifying data.
3. Prepares general ledger entries by maintaining records and files; reconciling accounts.
4. Develops and implements accounting procedures by analyzing current procedures; recommending changes.
5. Provides accounting support for mergers and acquisitions by reviewing financial information; converting data to general ledger system; obtaining supplementary information for preparing financial statements.
6. Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
7. Accomplishes accounting and organization mission by completing related results as needed

Working Conditions:
1. Possible occasional exposure to blood and other potentially infectious materials which may result in possible exposure to blood borne pathogens.

Physical Demands:
1. Sitting for long periods, standing, walking with occasional stooping.

Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
2. No Certifications Required.
3. Computer experience
4. 1 Year Experience in Accounting

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience with Accounting in Healthcare.
2. Healthcare experience preferred.
