NOTE: THIS POSITION IS FULLY REMOTE!Position Objective: Provide services as an Industrial-Organizational (I-O) Psychologist in support of the overall functions of the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), Office of Human Capital (OHC), Human Resources Operations Center (HROC). The I-O Psychologist will support a team of federal I-O professionals in the development and validation of a range of competency-based assessment tools.Duties and ResponsibilitiesData Analysis: Assist with job analysis data collection and analysis (i.e., descriptive and inferential methods).Assessment Development: Assist with the development of assessment tools based on job relevant factors.Survey Research: Assist with the design, sampling plan, programming, data extracting and reporting of organization-wide survey initiatives.Policy Support: Assist in the development of HR policies and organizational development initiatives.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:Master of Science degree in I-O Psychology or closely related field.Technical: Job analysis, assessment development and validation, intermediate level-skill in SPSS or other data analysis software package.Preferred Qualifications:"Can do" attitude, detail oriented, collaborative nature, active listener, critical thinker, strong communicator (i.e., spoken and written).*This job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required by this position.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
