Responsibilities:

• Check in with the Dispatcher each day to receive job assignments.
• Operate the truck and equipment in a proper and safe manner while hauling loads in support of civil construction projects.
• Conduct daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle in accordance with Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration regulations.
• Take directions from the Foreman on the job site or in their absence their designated appointee.
• Be available for snow removal operations.
• Wash and clean out vehicle daily.
• Fuel vehicle at the end of your work shift.

Requirements:

• Must have 2 years of experience driving a 10-wheel dump truck.
• Must hold a valid Class A or B CDL.
• Must possess a current DOT Medical Examiners Certificate
• Must be able to pass a DOT regulated alcohol and controlled substance screen.
• Must have reliable transportation to and from assigned location.
• Must be able to lift and carry tools, equipment, or material up to a weight of 95 pounds.
• Must be able to drive manual.

(FCCI) is an "EMPLOYEE OWNED" general and heavy construction business located in Forestville, MD and operating primarily in the Washington DC, Northern Virginia and Baltimore MD areas. Flippo's Operational services consists of Heavy Construction, including Bridges, Concrete Structures, Roadway and Site Work. We also provide utility installation, repairs, and long-term service/maintenance contracts for the major utility providers in the Washington Metropolitan area.
